Well, i'm not very familiar with that bike but if it has motorized valves in the intake, and exhaust I would make sure they were operation correctly first. If the exhaust valve was stuck or limited in range it would cause a lag in poer and a weird exaust note. maybe even a whislt.

could be a damaged exaust valve in the exaust system.

I don't have the bike so don't know.... Its also has a lag at certain RPM .....just getting this from my mechanci
