Default Click it or Ticket it

In case anyone wasn't aware from the 10000 commercials I've seen, click it or ticket is currently on. So here is a giant image.

Wearin my seatbelt comes 2nd nature after an accident causing 10K in damages to my Jetta back in 98. No seatbelt, went up and over the airbag, head hit the windsheild, somehow didn't split my head wide open, good thing for a baseball hat maybe. I don't think of it as a law, but more so a way to help save my life.

!

Unfortunately some drivers who think they don't need to wear one will learn the hard way...and I'm not talking about getting a ticket.

you might not think of it as a law BUT IT is... thats what makes it fucked up. last i checked this is a free country. there is no reason why the government should tell you how to live as long as you arent endangering the life of anyone else. not wearing your seatbelt endangers you alone and no one else so why the fuck is there a need 4 a law forcing you to wear one....

anyone who says that the seatbelt law is american has been brainwashed.

It's okay man...head to the ER or ICU to check out someone that's been thru a windshield or ejected from a vehicle, I'm sure they wish they'd worn theirs before all hell broke lose. It's the same reason why one has to wear their helmet in NJ, healthcare expenses for uninsured people are high enough in this state, there's no need to add to the ever increasing level. So in the end I do wind up paying for others mistakes.

driving is a privledge, not a right. Do you bitch about needing a drivers license? Who's to say a 14 year old kid out there can't drive a car better than some old people? I bet you yell about that bitch on her cell phone that cut you off because she wanted to chat with tammy about what to wear to prom. I DEMAND THE RIGHT to get totally shit faced and drive through a school yard full of children, it's my right! you're all brainwashed!

1st of all the word is "privilege". and are you serious?

a drivers lic. doesnt even come into play here so i wont address it.

i believe there are some states with balls that do allow 14 yr olds to drive - so whats your point?

the girl on the cell phone has the right to be on her cell phone if she wants. the government has no right to tell her not to talk on the phone. so "no" i dont bitch about her.

driving through a schoolyard filled with kids is murder whether your under the influence or not - not a right. youre hurting others.

I've been wearing my seatbelt from the day I started driving...and that was BEFORE it was even a law

I was wearing my seatbelt when I had my head on collision in 1988 and although the belt broke in 3 places, it still saved my life from the bastid that crossed the double yellow on a blind turn in my lane.

I have the scars to prove it and I'm glad that's all I got.

Quit yer relentless bitchin and recognize that while driving is a privledge, and an earned one at that, you are mandated to follow the governing laws of your state pertaining to holding a licensce.

You don't like it? Don't drive then.
