actually it is VIR, so it may not be that bad. Hell, last year was lovely in March and absolutely beautiful in November! |

It is always a crapshoot in March. I have been there when there was ice on the roads and trees heading into the track in March. I have been there when the officials at VIR would not let us on the track in march because all of the rain (this can happen any time) and I have been there and had mid 60 degree days in March. Solution, bring rains and anything else I may need and ride as long as they let us out on the track.

As much as I am looking forward to getting out there this season, I am going to wait until the weather is more solid before hitting the track. Last year in April the opening weekend was terrific. For me, it'll be better to wait a couple more weeks. Hope the weather pans out for those who are going that early.

Leaving in about 1/2 hour for VIR and the weather is looking great. Hope to see some of you there.
