the eggs aren't fertilized, and she is still dropping them, i believe the count is up to 25. ITs weird I've had her for years and she has never laid any eggs and today she just desided to become a chicken and lay a few dozen.

So you've got breakfast for the next few days. It's cool.

you couldn't pay me enough to eat those things! Although they do look like a chicken egg on the inside the leather like skin (not a hard shell) is kind of a turn off. lol

I was very worried about her being egg bound, but the vet didn't seem to think that was a problem with the amount laid and the the ease she had laying them. I would have been so screwed if they were al fertilized! 32 baby iguanas would not be fun. She is still pissed at me for taking her eggs.
Carpet python huh, very nice. I miss my ball python.

I didnt thing iguanas laid that many eggs either. I know with most "normal" size snakes 10 to 20 is good. With a full grown retic or burmese you could get up to 60 eggs.
