We're not commercial. Rather we're a bunch of motorcycle enthusiasts who like to talk about and ride, uhhhh well, motorcycles.

We're actually up to two trackdays a year and you're welcome to show up. In regards to the logo, that is a drawing based off a photo that I own the copyright to.

Are you for real? Threatening people you don't know from behind your computer monitor? I'd pay good money to see you attempt that. Seriously. I'll say it again, nice first impression.

Seems like something happened over at another site, fireblades.org and a new site was created...seems to be the "in thing" these days

Thanks... I think. Yes, the founding members of the new site were also once a large majority of the founding members of FBo...or we were simply the moderators and Admins of FBo if you want to put it in that context. We decided to leave and start over.
The internet is a pretty big place. I'm quite certain that there's enough room for all of us here. Who knows? You might even find that you could get to like us a little bit. Well, ok, some of us anyway. I tend to be a bit of a bastard at times but the others are fairly friendly.

Nope, not mine. I'm just a part of it.
Forum wars seem to be very popular these days for those with little else to occupy their time and I was hoping to avoid that sort of thing between this site (which I haven't had an opportunity to check out yet) and the one I call home.
You'll find that the folks over on "my" site are quite friendly and that many of them qualify as undeniably funny. Then there are theones that qualify under such terms as "wise-ass, smart-ass, jack-ass, etc etc". We're an equal opportunity group of ass-like people.
Seriously, I noticed that Judy was trying to explain things and I've known her for a while now. What she said about us not trying to copy your site is absolutely true...and if I might add, what she said about us being a good group of people, is also true.
No harm, no foul.

As if I haven't wasted enough time on this site today.
Are the large majority of you guys sportbike riders, or anything goes?

No, I was joking. No need to take it as a threat... Road Rash was a video game. I'm pretty sure if I was going to get a case of the board balls and start to threaten people, it wouldn't include video game references, and it would probably be over something worth getting upset about. Personally, I think the idea of two groups of bikers thrown together on a track split into different groups by colored jerseys, hitting each other with make-shift weapons is pretty funny. It would be a mix between roller derby and Running Man.
Sorry, a little long winded, but in short, was not serious, all for other forums existing, welcome to SBA.
What do you ride?

We are mostly a bunch of sportbike riders but there are quite a few that own or have owned (and possibly looking to own) cruisers/tourers/off road stuff. Coming from a Honda specific forum we wanted to open it up a little more to a general motorcycling sort of forum. Sportbikers are still heavily in the majority though.

Sweet. Thank you for the explanation. It's all good. I ride an `01 929. The pic below is me at Grattan Raceway in June 2006. Thanks for the welcome, too.
