sneakers
did the internet really ruin the way we used to buy sneakers?? i remember i used to go to footlocker or champs and try on like 16 pairs until i found the ones i loved. now you go to footlocker and they dont have shit and if they do they definately dont carry your size. then they'll give you this crap about ordering them for you from the internet. its like. "buddy, do i look like a monkey? i can order them myself off the internet. i came here to try them on, see how they feel, make sure they fit and look cool on me."
ive been trying to get the new airmax 360's but no one has my size and if they do they dont have the color i want. i dont want to have to do it but i may have to break down and order them off the internet.
i guess my question is: do you buy your sneakers off the internet or is there some new cool place out there that carries everything in every size that no one told me about??

Well, yes, admittedly, the process can be very time consuming.

Sneakers out now are just horrendous. Started around I'm guessing 10 years ago and just keeps getting worse. Takes me forever to find a nice pair of sneakers.

I just get the basic white sneakers. Sometimes I'll get some with a little color in them. I'm getting old.

i hear ya Cakes, i dont know what the hell happened to sneaker design. when did it become the trend to design sneakers after moonboots? and some of them are just flat out ugly with all those damn colors. it does make you wish for the days of a single or double color pair.
but i think the sneaker market has become so flooded with product that the sneaker stores dont have the room or the money to stock that much inventory. cuz lets face it, back in the day you either wore nike's or reeboks. now all the old school companies have made a serious come back and there are so many new ones on the scene that its gettin out of hand.
but im with crystal, i need to try things on before i buy and it seems like now a days that is not as easy as it used to be...
