Yo son: Too bad about your bike but I'm sure you had full coverage on it. I have never had less than full coverage on my previous bikes and with the speeding tickets that I been issued while driving my cage you know my premium is up there ($1350/yr) but I don't give a fuck. If my bike get got, I'll just go cop a next one. Hopefully NJPD can recover it but two things to keep in mind: 1) Looking for stolen bikes is the least of the PD's problems unless your township is "tiny town" and there's nothing else for the cops to do other than get a cat out the tree. 2) Most stolen bikes ARE NOT recovered and the few that are sometimes have been damaged or even worse....chopped all the way to bumba-fuck.

Yeah once stolen I don't think anyone holds much hope, I know when I had mine stolen there was a boatload of evidence, like timberland boot prints in the snow next to the bike, perfectly preserved, the cop stood on it as he was writing his report... BRILLIANT!

Yeah not the point, there were 2 sets of boot prints that clearly you coulda got the size and make / model, not that they'd DO anything with it, but coulda marked it off, ya know?

If you do just lock it down...and even then it can be gone in less than a minute...
As Nexx stated once its gone, its gone...file the paperwork with the insurance and shop for another one.
The one thing that truly sucks is that one doesnt get back the money spent on all the mods....that is the back breaker for sure if you have much invested in the bike.
