Default So The Other Day

Walking along the neighborhood, enjoying the nice change in weather, minding my own business. All of a sudden I trip over this big part of the sidewalk sticking up out of the ground. I had walk the same way for years and never saw it like that. Anyway, I fell and hit my head on the ground, as I'm trying to gain some composure I notice a moving van in driveway bringing in some furniture to the house that these new people are moving into. I see some skinny dude look over and not even care. I asked for some help and yells out, "Naaa man...sorry...you're on town property, call the police to help." This prick couldn't even help, so I called the town about the sidewalk and they told me that its the owner of the house responsibility to maintain that secion of the sidewalk, so I told them well they better let this guy know cause he just sittin there laughing at all these people fallin. I see old ladies breakin their hip, paperboy fell off his bike, little kids can't rollerblade...all because this guy can't help out. They said they would take care of it...I also told them to watch out, that he might be trying to do some work w/o proper permits...

I am pretty sure the town maintains the sidewalks, it is the property owner's responsibility to keep obstructions off the sidewalk (snow is one). Or maybe's it's also their responsibility to inspect them and make sure the slabs aren't being pushed up by treeroots aswell. Sidewalks reside in the public right-of-way.

This may help you understand the joke ---> http://sportbikeaddicts.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=2413

But seriously we all know cakes didn't fall on a crack. His little ass probablly fell right thru the crack. Johnny just left him there because he was laughing to hard.
