RAC 08-17-2006 11:18 AM

Did you see the part where the confessed killers exwife says he was with her in Alabama at the time of the murder? Maybe this guy is crazy and just admitting to this for attention or something. I can't imagine an ex lying for someone especially when it involves a sick murder such as this.

Barbi 08-17-2006 11:20 AM

maybe she wants the attention? It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.

RAC 08-17-2006 11:21 AM

Could also be true. I agree this will be interesting.

CuCullin 08-17-2006 11:22 AM

*nod*

Though I do hope this gets solved - 10yrs is a long time.

"Lt. Gen. Suwat Tumrongsiskul, head of Thailand's immigration police, said Karr confessed to the killing after his arrest by Thai and U.S. authorities Wednesday at his downtown Bangkok guesthouse.

Suwat said Karr insisted that JonBenet died during a kidnapping attempt that went awry.

"He said it was second-degree murder. He said it was unintentional," Suwat said. "He said he loved this child, that he was in love with her. He said she was very pretty, a pageant queen. She was the school star, she was very cute and sweet."

Suwat quoted Karr as saying he tried to kidnap JonBenet for a $118,000 ransom but that his plan went awry and he strangled her."

The guy said he was in love with the girl. He also said he sent letters to her mother before she died. That is creepy that he sent letters and they could be somewhere and no one knows it. The entire case I have found strange. I think he may have admited to the killing to come back to the US from what ever he did over seas. Maybe?

Gear Dog 08-18-2006 08:37 AM

yeah serving a jail sentence here is probably a lot easier that over there. Sick dude either way, I hope there is a horrible accident on the way back to the US

RAC 08-18-2006 08:57 AM

This case is all fucked. Did anyone read todays articles?? This looks really complicated.

CuCullin 08-18-2006 11:03 AM

Yeah it does... though the reports of him saying in his confession that he drugged her were unconfirmed. Who knows whats up with this nutjob, and we still have to see if the ex-wife produces pictures of him during the holiday season.

soda7o 08-18-2006 11:16 AM

jcblitz 08-18-2006 11:37 AM

Some times the best way to deny something is to spread misinformation.

CuCullin 08-18-2006 11:38 AM

Well, we don't know anything yet. He has stated that the media is portraying things incorrectly, and that the Thai Police did not translate correctly or some such, and is requesting a press conference.

On the other side of things, apparently he is aware of things not made public by any means, which is why the investigation continues into him.
