Nice rig Johnny, for the price and easy storage it's tough to beat.

I'm assuming you have plenty of room for all your track gear in the truck?

the guy with the 2 cbrs has his front straps way too far forward. if those rear straps go, the bikes will be doing endos

CBRBob 03-28-2007 09:42 PM

John, you want the wheelbase pretty much centered over the axle, but about 2in. forward.
Those cbrs are strapped kinda ok, the center straps are too far forward, the front-sides are ok. NOTE: all straps should pull FORWARD. John, with the rear straps pulling back, if a front strap loosens, the back straps will pull it away from the chock and then, it will fall to the side. If they all pull forward, and any one lets go, the remaining straps are still pulling it into the chock for stability.
John, your trailer wheels look like 12".

so my 2 bikes are ok there.? but i should move my rear straps forward, which is how i had it in my enclosed trailer. i dont have a picture of it, but i'll move them forward.

i managed to mount my generator to the front of the trailer. it wont go no where, i got it pretty tight. but my 2 EZ-UPS i can also strap down in between the 2 bikes along with mounting my took box in the middle to. but everything else i will put in my truck. i got an Armada which is pretty big inside. also i can fit everyting in the truck, generator and tool box, ex-ups if needed into my truck to. its my hotel on wheels lol

Oh I remember my friend...a vivid memory of someone doing a Jesus Christ pose out of the sunroof at 60 MPH on major roadway at 2AM in 30 degree weather.

No, they look too far forward and if you have the generator on the front, just center them over the axle. The generator will give you plenty of tongue weight. With them all the way forward like that you have too much tongue weight!

John712 03-29-2007 12:15 PM

what i'll do is move it 1 link back which would be 1 link forward with the 2 CBR's so my straps arent to far forward. you think that should be good.?

i didnt care all that much when i had my enclosed, i just dont wanna get to Beaver and have someone say they seen a yellow and blue Gix 500 miles back
