Default Saturn car line dead?

http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/2007...ompany-indeed/

They just launched a new vehicle, the Vue (which I thought was pretty cool), have a huge marketing campaign out, and didn't they just win a car or truck of the year award? I don't know how much I believe that article. I was looking into buying a Vue but after reading that, I don't know.

If you like the Vue, buy one. What difference does it make
which "company" covers warranty work.

did u read the article.. its not dead, they are just saying that because they arent living up to the "different kind of car" because they are being mass produced with other GM products.. i dont see what the big deal is.. cause they have always been a GM product.

Ah, I just reread it. I misunderstood what they were talking about. I thought they were ceasing to manufacture saturns and using the buildings to produce parts for other G.M. models.

Which lead to my hesitation of even thinking of buying a Vue, much like what happened to daewoo.

Don't buy a saturn. I know that they are reliable cars, but when they start breaking your ass is gonna hurt. My sister had a saturn and you always had to take it to a stealership. They won't sell there parts to anyone else.

I did love my Saturn until I could only get it fixed at the dealship. That might have changed. It's been 4 years since I had that car.
