I talked to Bobby Kim early Monday morning as he was pulling into the pits. He started laughing his ass off and said that a guy had just highsided doing about 15mph on the cold asphalt. Then he said that the guy who came to help him dropped his bike.

The 2nd time I ever went to VIR, someone pulled out of the tech 'barn' and highsided at 5mph. I forget who, but someone pulled his tech sticker on the spot.

That was Greg Santrock. He's now a coach... Happened in 2002. I'll never forget it since it was my first trackday ever.
In Gregs defense it was raining that morning.
