He often has the truck loaded with construction crap, and I don't think he bought the HD suspension package.

My brother has a the same generation truck and he's broken rear leaf springs twice.

IDK - bought the loaded struts so that was an easy fix.

But a broken coil spring seems weird without a sub-standard material.

I guess so, maybe a nick in the paint, then rust a bit.

Seems good to me, but I don't stress the suspension very much.
