Default 2005 GSXR-1000 dyno results

Tuned at Xtreme Machines this afternoon by Tommy Miceli. Yoshimura full system, otherwise engine is all stock, easy break-in and 11K miles. Green is the custom map, red is the premade Dynojet map from their website, very fat all across Tommy said. No baseline unfortunately.

178.94 HP
90.39 ft/lbs

I had my R1 done there as well. They made a huge improvement in the midrange and a nice improvement up top.

Stock run is the bike bone stock. Mapped run is the bike with a full Ti-Force system, power comander and custom map.

Provided you allready have a power comander USB installed it's $350.
What they do is tune the bike in 500 rpm increments not just WOT sweeps. The result is a very thorough custom map and a nice smooth torque curve.

Yeah, I said the same thing after I saw mine.

My bike stock made 156hp at the wheel. All the mag's had the same #'s for the '05 R1's so I dont know what to think. My main concern was the flattness of the torque curve and getting rid of the 7k dip. That was definitely accomplished.

Tommy does 10/20/40/60/80/100% throttle mappings and the dyno holds the motor at varying and increasing RPMs. This is something that inertia dynos cannot do effectively. The Factory Pro also monitors CO as the primary exhaust gas (as well as HC, CO2 and O2). Monitory O2 as the primary exhaust gas is not effective for making precise tuning.

I just like the way the bike feels accelerating now. To be honist if I hold the throttle open for more that a few seconds now...I kinda almost run into things.
