I watched the endurance race from the infield bleaches. Damn exciting to watch! You and Nate are so f'n smooth out there.

I had fun with the race-prep air cooled Ducati during the Sprint (background of my pic above) race and took the win in the HW division.

damn thats brutal. is this a new tire with one track day on it?

I have 5 days and 2000 street miles on my qualifiers and i still have enough meat for 2 more days.
granted im still in white group, so i guess my pace is not that hard on my tires...

I believe he said he had 1/2 at beaver 1/2 at pocono and something else I forgot.

But no it isn't brand new. Actually riding style and suspension setup has more to do with tire wear than pace. I have seen white group riders eat tires.

It's now a good Pocono east tire.

It's all a matter of where you get on th gas. Smooth wear like Bob's tire show he's on throttle from the edge of the tire to the middle. When they wear out only about 1 from the edge that means the rider waits for the bike to be more upright and hammers the throttle open. This just beats the hell out of that section of the tire and wears it out in no time, especially on a 1000.

We all go through this it's just part of the learning process.
