skiiing/snowboarding goggles
Can you suggest some good brand names for goggles? I was about to buy what seemed like a good one for ~$20, but wanted to make sure it was a good one. I think the brand name starts with b... borrell, or something like that. "boller?"
I'm getting ready for some skiing this January.

i think mine are from "spy". they're pretty comfy and don't fog up. if you want name brand, you can go with something like oakley. i'd go with a pair that feel comfortable. i bought mine a couple years ago and hardly use them.

I have a pair of Spys that i used for a weekend want to sell em because they dont fit my face. The lens is in good condition with no scratches.
BTW - if you spend 20 dollars on a pair of goggles, they wont last, and the lens will suck. It also depends on how much skiing/snowboarding you do.

jase has a good point
i have had my pair of cheapo ones for a whiel now. i keep them in good ocndition i have used them probably like 7 or 8 times. they dont fog up unless youtake them off and put them on your head... for 20 bucks they are an over all good investment
but if youare a pro and use them alot i woudl recomment something more high quality alsomake sure they fit your face good. but if you go onse or 3 times a seaon the 20 dollar ones should be good enough.

I have a pair of Scott and Bolle I think. The second pair have dark orange lenses which help a little. What ever you do don't get them at the slope because you are going to pay top dollar for it. If you are just starting out go to Modells or Dick's. At Dick's you'll prpbably get a better selection. I see you are from Jersey so your best bet would be Princton Ski shops.
Soda for jackets do a search on the-house. They usually have some good deals there.

"bolle" that's the brand name I saw there. I tried it on, it seemed to be the most expensive pair I saw there. I was just a little concerned with the spongy foam that was padding the vents. It didn't seem too.. what's the word...official!
I didn't know if decent goggles all have that or no.
Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll check them out again. The ones I saw did have that dark orange tint.
