We don't know if he was a druggie or if he wasn't, the bottom line is he's dead. And if it was an "accident", then he was a 28 year old father who wasn't responsible enough to research what he was taking before gambling his life on a hunch...what a waste.

He said that although his body was exhausted his mind was still going and he needed Ambien to help him sleep. On top of that he had pneumonia and was taking meds for that. It sounds to me like it was honest case of accidentally overdosing on a cocktail of prescription drugs.

Don't you think the doctor or pharmacist should know that more then he should?

Anyway, I guess I shouldn't jump to conclusions. For all I know, maybe he did up his doses so he could get a high high. But in my original post I just stated that alot of people here were being harsh with the "another stupid druggie actor" and "homo" jokes and should keep the degrading comments toned down. Ya' know be a little bit respectful.

Respect has to be EARNED... and a 28 year old kid with as much access as this guy had doesn't rate in my book.... just my opinion. He couldn't sleep... poor baby. There are people in the world with REAL problems.

I feel for his family.

In the end.... people die every day. And many are FAR more tragic than this guy.

Either way May He rest in peace.

Of course, but the Dr. can't be there with him 24/7 to be sure he takes the correct doses.

True but the doctor should have his medical history on file including the meds he was currently using, unless as I stated before, he upped his doses himself, then that would've been totally his own foolish doing.

I don't pity him because he's an actor. And I don't pity him because he overdosed. But I wouldn't bash the guy either. It's just that I would respect the dead no matter how they died.

Insomnia is a real problem. So is drug addiction, alcoholism, gambling addiction, depression, etc...

True there are far more tragic stories out there. Some people die foolishly by their own hand and others die valiantly. I've lost friends and family members both ways. But I've shown my respects to all of them and their families. And just because the guy was famous doesn't mean he should be made fun of.

yes but a BIG problem you seem to lack the knowledge of is how to handle personal responsibility.... I dont care what your addicitons are or how hard your life is or if mom and dad didnt huge them enough, at the end of the day you're responsible for how you life... and die.
