2000 on the dot, HP4. I can't attest to if it's worth it or not because I'm not a mechanic, but it makes me sleep at night.

I've been bad about changing the oil on my street bike at regular intervals

I just had it done last weekend after a few thousand street miles and 5 trackdays I thought Nick at Moto-Insanity was gonna kill me. Once it was dumped in to the pan I took a look at it. Pretty much a big puddle of tar Won't let that happen again!

From now on, every 1500 miles.

On the street, every 2K. On the track, well I mis-counted and instead of going 4 days I went 7 and I could hear more engine noise on the last day for sure. Changed the oil on the last day and it was like water This was Motul semi-synth to boot!

about every 4 track days, sometimes 5 (same time I change tires and bleed brakes) or 2500 miles, whichever comes first since same bike does double duty. I use repsol full synth, and an oem filter.
also fresh filter and the cheapest motorcycle specific oil I could find before it goes to sleep for the winter. when it comes back out, oil change back to the synth, but keep the same filter
