Default Highest Odometer/Mileage on Bike

I'm curious to know the highest Odometer Mileage Reading anyone has gotten their bike upto. I'm thinking EOL is alot sooner then cars considering we Street, Track, Stunt, etc. our bikes...being that I use mine alot for commuting (and pleasure) year round (if no snow/ice) I've put on about 17K over the past 2 yrs.; saved me alot in ga$ so far....guess I'm hoping it lasts awhile before I start having to rack up the miles on my new car.

I don't own it anymore but my first street bike was a 1985 Kawasaki GPz550.

I sold it with 66K miles on it in 1992. The guy who bought it lives close by and I would see the bike now and then. In 2005 or 2006 I saw him and he was still riding it, it had 186K miles on it.

Okay...is it safe to assume that if you actually take care of your bike (oil changes, tires, brakes, clean the chain, etc... it will last a very long time?

How did you pull that off?

One of Ron's(wcw) customers has over 250,000 miles on his 02(I think) gix 750.

OF COURSE!

Bikes were meant to be ridden. The big misconception is that sportbikes won't last over 15,000 miles. That's ridicoulous. As long as you take care of the bike it should last for a VERY long time.

So to answer the question, I used to have a 1999 GSXR SRAD. It had 58,000+ miles. I eneded up giving it to my wifes cousin. Last I heard he still rides it. I guess now would be a good time to find out.

Yes, my Katana always had synthetic oil and when SPRHK and I pulled the motor apart it looked like brand new! Take care of your ride and it will take care of you!

Most I racked up on a bike was about 60,000. Was still running when I got rid of it.
