Cecil has a good point.

Why Ohio? That just sounds like a depressing place.

If I could I'd move south to one of the carolina's. Closer to VIR, Barber,& Road Atlanta.

minus the tracks, is there anything else appealing about ohio? i've never really heard anyone saying how much they love living in ohio. if work/higher pay, and proximity to tracks are the two biggest factors for you, then by all means, you should do it. i'd opt to head further south to the carolinas also. awesome mt roads to ride and close to great tracks, or better yet, to Cali...if finances would allow it. most of my family is in the tristate area so i'm sticking around here unless i get a job offer that i just can't turn down. good luck!!

Well for all your reasons i would say "bye bye NJ". Just make sure you check out the area first. Its amazing what you take for granted where you live. I personally couldn't live in Ohio unless it was a more populated area. I just like the way things move in the northeast. Nice quick pace.

As for me, i am looking to get the hell out of here to. But i'm gonna be looking a little south in jc's neck of the woods. Got a good job opportunity in North east philly, and i can get my own house and afford the mortgage on my own.

Good luck with your decision.

Bowler PM or call me. I can tall you all about it. I moved to NC about 2.5 years ago now. I was able to find a good job, buy a house in a nice neighborhood, ect ect. Bottom line, I couldn't be more unhappy. If all goes as planned I will be back in NY/NJ by the first of the year...

And come on now Cakes...don't be getting peoples hopes up. Vida would never leave me

He would also have to watch cleveland Browns games

Moving like that is a tough call. With my profession I an prety much go anywhere and find work, but am in a good spot here so I will likley stay put for now. if youre not tied down here with family or other obligations and can move into a nice neighborhood and live better than her I say go for it.

the grass always seems greener.... pro n cons to all the states... I just seem to always end up back in the tri-state area there are very few areas as diverse. Yea taxes, insurance, costs of living are high.

Good luck though!

Because they use fertilizer. Maybe just take a trip out there and spend the weekend out there just to get a feel. Bt regardless, you do what you gotta do.

A friend of mine did that. Went and explored a few areas to get the general vibe before deciding on a place to stay.

Go for it. You can't beat money in you pocket.

We'll visit on any trips out by you. Like the MotoGP at Indy next year. Mid Ohio is a great track to be close to.
