Default Make your own Clipon Tubes

ok, 7/8th Aluminum Tube would be needed, but what thickness? Anyone know or make their own? I gotta think it'd be cheap to buy this stuff at Home Depot or a Plumbing Supply company and just cut to length, just gotta get the thickness of the tube correct so it doesn't bend. (And no I don't have a tube in front of me to measure the thickness)

Thanks,

Bryce

got the info while researching on another board...

Go here:

http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalo...tube_short.php

Alloy:
6062T6
Outside Diameter:
7/8
Wall:
.120
Part number:
03-36500
Length:
4
Quantity:
2

(I ordered 2 x 4 foot lengths instead of one 8 foot length so it can
come via regular UPS and save $.)

My order cost me ~30 (don't know what shipping is, I figure $10 at
most). So I got 8 clipon tubes for ~$5 a pop. (Standard clipon
tube u can buy is 9 inches, so take a 12in length and cut it to size)

Enjoy!

Bryce
