Weather permitting, I'll bring my DVD cam and tripod, maybe we can have someone switch off and record us all.

Unfortunately, TPM doesn't allow cameras on the motorcycles, but I would imagine someone could mount a bullet or lipstick cam mount somewhere inconspicuous.

Plus I wouldn't want to video any of my laps.

Thats lame...a video is a very resourceful tool to be used at track days ...

TPM has seen too many crashes because of camera. Either you push too hard taping for yourslef or others push too while they are being taped. As part of tech they look for lipstick camera and mounts, so you may or may not get away with it.

Example: lunch time at Pocono we see a wrecked bike in the bed of a pickup. His freind comes in and pops the seat open and takes the camera out. Guess why the guys bike is on the truck, yup he was being taped and pushed it too hard and fell.

I agree that taping is useful for learning and it's great to show friends but history at TPM has shown it to cause problems. I'm not saying you can't change this but you have to prove that it can be used and not cause crashes.
