Always look to where you want to go and the bike will follow. Keep your head up and always look through the turn. once you are through that turn, look for the entrance of the next turn. Target fixation can be a big problem if you don't get past it. Practice, practice and more practice. I've been riding motorcycles since I was 7. Thats 31 years. I learn something everytime I go out. As my grandfather used to tell me, " Any day you don't learn something new is a wasted day." Also, use this bit of advise, Go slow to go fast. It's the best thing I ever learned doing track days.
Ride safe.

to all the above advice..

and most importantly, have confidence and commit to your move/turn/lean. just like a horse, your bike knows when you're scared ...the more confident you are, the more your bike will trust you..and the more you will trust your bike.

Never trade the thrills of living for the security of existence.

There are two types of people in this world, people who ride motorcycles and people who wish they could ride motorcycles.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't.

I haven't been riding too long either but SPRHK's advice seems right on for me. Target fixation...I'm always looking around so as to not fixate and keep an eye out for deer, other animals. The areas I drive through to/from work have alot of woods.

On ur side note: me and yb929rr live relatively close to ya so hit us up w/ a PM. I have a few other friends in my area and E. Bruns. area to ride with so just give a holla. Sometimes I'll go ride up in N.Jerz and sometimes I'll go ride w/ other crews in PA,etc.
