Pretty psyched. Worked all day on the bike and trailer, ready for a road trip.
See you fellas there. Hoping to get there and leave the trailer for a change. What time do you think Beaverun will be open until on Friday to drop off trailers?

Great job on the pics sue! Glad to see you guys and was great seeing everyone.

I had a hard crash but I was lucky and with the help of Ken and Dave (thanks alot guys) I was able to continue riding.....I got banged up and today Im feeling it with a stiff elbow and hand but it was an awesome day!

Great seeing everyone and I'm glad I could make it down on such short time.

I know people have pictures of my bike and my bruised head so post em up!

Oh man...what can I say...one of the best track w/e's to date...seems like I say the same thing with each one but they just keep getting better and better! The drive over to the track wasn't to bad, watching Rocky on the iPod might of helped with the drive a lil, lol. Arrived at Beaver Run mid afternoon Fri to drop off at the usual spot, then little by little most of the others started to show as we all took up a nice section of the paddock, to quote Jimmy, its like we had our own wing lol. After that it was off to the Lone Star for some grub which ended up being horrible. They were very short staffed, took over an hour to get our food and to top it all off we were panhandled by some guy with a sob story, oh boohoo
Anyway, onto Sat which was Africa Hot. Go to the normal and just about only spot in the area for ice, and they're freggin out of ice. Lucky for us we grabbed a huge bag the night before, and thanks to Dave for gettin some extra. I haven't been to Beaver since Sept last year and I was long over due, used the first session to shake off some of the cobwebs and to get my reference points back. During the first session another rider in front of me almost caused a nice little mishap with him and I as he threw his hand up signifying he was pitting in early, I go to take the inside line and he decided to apex T-10 going about 40mph slower I quickly rolled off as he cut right in front...just an fyi...never apex 10 after you decided to pit in...need to be at riders left...this was also right after it was mentioned in the rider's meeting...anywho after that it was go time, picked up right where I left off in Sept. My main goal for this w/e was to A. not crash and B. get into the single digits. By lunch on Sat I got meself a :10, then pretty consistent after that. As hot as it was later on in the day I needed to skip a session from fatigue, even with all the water and Gatoraid I was drinking, it was just to damn hot. End of the day, saw Gallo who talked for Ant and I for a sec, also gave a few words of encouragement saying he saw me out there and that I definitely was deserving of my spot in the Blue group...Move onto Sunday, weather wasn't looking to promising but we were hoping for the best. Being warmed up from Sat, first session on Sunday was pretty much full steam ahead, even with the slight drizzle. Second session nice and dry, again consistent 10's, now I'm looking at what I needed to do to get into the single digits. Knowing my weaknesses I made a conscience effort to fix and tweak my riding, head out 3rd session, felling real good, come in a little early as it started raining more now, check the timer, back to back 1:09's! At this point I got a shit eating grin on ma face. Now this is by no means any where near most of the Blue group pace but was a big jump for me. Go out for the 4th session, on the grid waiting to go out, I over heard the guy's radio that someone in the first group of people that was let our before us ended up crashing before finishing the first lap, Ant and I yell out "Already?!" Not wanting to sit there and hoping they would of just had us start lunch we head back to the pits...then they recalled Blue back up at this point I wasn't really feelin it and didn't go out. After lunch it started raining more, Ant and Jimmy were troopers and stayed out there to the very end. All in all was an excellent w/e. A lot of the passing that was done on me was mainly in the straits/high speed kinks, not to many in the turns, which tells me my corner speed is there, but the sv is just draggin ass down the straits(even better drives can/will fix this, which I'm working on.) Big thanks to TPM for putting on yet another great event. Big thanks to Ray at theSBimage for some really excellent pics. Was also a pleasure to pit with "the group." Big SBA showing as well, Ant, Jimmy, Donna, CBRBob, Rita, Student Driver, Tommymac, bondo, NYCSTRIPES, FDNYDANNO, Mack, Lee, Ray, Song, DSH, IrocRob, JimRBlue, Sue, Hani, Stefan, wcrbikemike, john217, Bowler, Omar, Pillaka, Kennedy, bad5k1000...sorry if I missed anyone. See everyone soon!
