Great find! I think there is an oversaturation of NASCAR programming, They have their own network on Satellite TV. I really don't care what the drivers do in their free time, or what their favorite foods are. In my opinion, NASCAR is the only major racing series in the world that tries to equalize the cars(outside of IROC). They should just lay down the rules and let the factories "have at it", even though major factory involvement in NASCAR ended in the 1970's

Sadly it'll never happen. NASCRAP pays alot and I mean ALOT of $$$ for broadcasting, advertising, etc. so they're gonna get what they want. It's also the #1 watched sporting event, even bigger than the Super Bowl...what we need to do is get more people to watch football than watch 40 guys ride around in a counter clockwise circle jerk all day :omg:

No love, no love

Believe it or not, there is a lot of technical planning and building in NASCAR. Sure, anyone can get in to a stock car and drive around in a big circle, but there are a lot of other things to factor in too!

I like NASCAR, but admit I don't watch it much anymore since the death of Earnhardt :cries:

Unfortunately NASCAR grosses more income overall than any other sporting event in the US, and I'm sure SpeedTV is getting a nice chunk of change from them also. I'd like to hope this petition will make a difference, but they have such a monopoly on the market that it'll never pass.

I am in, already subscribed to MotoGP.com for access to the races. At least I will be able to download and watch them at my leisure. Shame really, but they should just rename it the Nascar chanel.
