Default car lease question(milage)

ok lets say you got one year left in your lease and lets say you know your going to be over the millage. can you purchace before the end of the lease more millage? this way its not all a huge hit at the termination of the lease?>

I believe the finance company won't let you do that. Check with them, but in the meantime do the math and start saving your pennies. Maybe if you've taken excellent care of the car inside and out they'll give you a break on the overmileage providing it's within a reasonable limit...it's been done before.

Sometimes you can negotiate at the end of the lease - If you agree to lease another car through the same company/dealer they may ignore the mileage.

Otherwise you could inadvertently disconnect the vehicle speed sensor.

That's a nice one way ticket to federal prison for tampering with a bank's property. The onboard pc will timestamp that action the instant it's done.

Just leave it on the side of Rt.21 in Newark with the keys in it...if you have Gap ins. that is

For older cars that would work but for newer cars the speed sensor comes from the tranny. Still not hard but for non car people that could be tough.

just find a shady mechanic and have him turn the clock back..
it can be done on any car.. digital speedoe or not...
