Maybe Motley Crew will open for them...I can't believe they're still alive.

uh so to revive a thread dedicated to the most awesome band ever...

i saw maiden two nights ago at PNC. best time i've ever had a maiden show. as we were stumbling up to the entrance gates, the skies opened up...i mean pouring rain and wicked lightning and thunder. it rained all night and we had lawn seats. there were 3 mud slides going form the top of the lawn by the fence to the bottom by the seated sections. i've never had so much fun screaming, running, acting a fool and sliding down mud hills on my belly.

the set list was almost the same as the list you posted, ism. they played Hallowed last after the encore.....which I somehow weasaled my way down into one of the really close sections to see. absofuckinglutely amazing. first time i saw them play "rime" as well...blew my mind.

My 12 year old cousin went to this concert. Apparently they're a hit with the young led zeppelin t-shirt wearing, guitar hero playing crowd.

Definetly. At one point, Bruce looks out into the crowd for a minute, pauses, and says something along the lines of "This next song was written, by the looks of things, well before most of you were born" Know what? All the better. We need some kids to stand up and keep the spirit alive. If I meet some 13 year old kid somewhere rocking out to Maiden, I'm gonna tell him how cool he is for doing that.

Also - forgot to mention: They brought one of the coolest robotic Eddie's I've seen. He was marching back and forth on stage aiming his pistol at everyone. It fucking rocked.
