denied unemployment benefits
anyone have any experience with getting denied unemployment benefits and had to submit an apeal? I want toknow what i should put in the apeal

Usually youre gonna win it and wait a 3 month penalty in which you will recieve a check in one lump sum for the 12 weeks. Unless your previous employer says you quit, then sometimes it's a little harder.

If you quit or are fired because you fucked up bad they will make you wait for unemployment benifits. If you're laid off or fired because the boss just didn't like you, you usually can collect sooner. Its kind of a joke you pay into it and play hell when you need it. Its like Social Security for all of us not old enough to collect yet, we'll pay in and get the big F U when its time.

yeah but what about apealing the process. I was denied becasue they said i was untruthful during a company investigation so unemployment denied me benefits for the 5 weeks. I want those 5 weeks.

Wondering if your previous employer marked it as you quit instead of them letting you go? Something isn't right here.

Being fired and being fired for cause are two very different things.
You can try and appeal but your likely going to have to wait the 5 weeks.

I was denied unemployment... and then when the company that laid me off found out I applied for unemployment, they sent me a bill claiming I owe THEM money.... HAHA! Seriously.. They said I owed them money for vacation time that I used, apparently using more than I had accrued up to that point in the year where I was laid off. It's not my fault they outsourced my department to India and Ireland. Fuck off with your bill  |

Most likely just gonna have to wait it out. If your appealing its gonna be your word verses there word. But if you get fired they have to have 3 complaint forms against you that you signed to loose unemployment. If they don't have that, then there just stalling on you to piss you off.
