Forgot to post about this here, anyway last weekend I was part of this -

it was a shitload of fun, I did it with two other guys and one had done it the year before so that was good as he knew what to expect and how to prepare. We were "Team BP" dressed as BP execs bringing oil spills and oil-covered stuffed animals to the various waypoints we had to hit on the way to Raleigh. unfortunately i also got a speeding ticket, blew out the front right tire and nearly hit a cow standing in the middle of the road all within 45 min of the start of the rally. that meant we had to complete the remaining 450-500 mi on a donut which held up remarkably well.. but we did win lowest mileage so it was (semi) worth it. oh yea and it wasn't really oil, lol
