Default My first ccs race

I have been wanting to try a ccs race all year but just could not do it.So I went to summit this weekend and finally did it.I got there Friday night set up and went back to the hotel.(pitted with smiley face guys)First thing in the morning I got to the track and went to register.I entered 7 races for the weekend.Went through tech and I was ready for practice.I was really nervous.Went out for the first practice and felt good to get out there. The nerves were gone. After 3 practices we had the riders meeting, then lunch. Then the racing started.I got 5th in my first race 6th second and 5th for the last race on saturday. On sunday I got two 5th,a 4th and a 6th.Pretty good for my first weekend I thought. Now Im going back to summit in two weeks to do it again

Nice job dude. Good results for a liter bike on the shenny. Did you get beat by a bunch of sv's and motards?
You'll clean house at Summit main. Just remember, go faster through 10 than you think you can.

Only ones holding me up were some of the slower experts.Good battles with some sv's though.Starting from the last row on every race kinda sucked a little.

Very cool! What kind of times were you turning? I'm curious because I'm ready to hit Glenn up for the license application and try it out for myself. During the GPMoto races I've been able to do low 21's on main (I swear I turned a 20 but don't have the lap timer to prove it). I would imagine the CCS guys would be doing 18's and 19's. Just wondering how much of a back marker I'd be.
