I've got the Joe Rocket Phoenix 2.0, and the Phoenix gloves as well for hot weather (and Teknic Chicane gauntlets for winter). I have yet to invest in my COOL weather riding wardrobe yet, since cool weather is kinda rare her in Florida.

And of COURSE full-face helmet.

For under the jacket, I've found that the Nike tanktops with the built-in bra (the ones for running/sports) are nice. They're lightweight and breathable, but they're also made with that Coolmax stuff or whatever it is, so they wick the sweat away from your body. VERY important here in Florida!!

For winter I wear my Dainese leather jacket (which has a very nice warm insert, Alpinestars leather pants, Alpinestars Closeouts SMX Boots, and gloves, Full faced helmet (always)..

Summer= Joe Rocket mesh Cleo jacket, jeans, leather gloves, Alpinestars Closeouts SMX Boots and Helmet.. I have found the jacket to be so good for the heat...

Track= AGV one piece race suit, Alpinestars Boots, Sidi track gloves and Helmet..

I have been researching the full Kevlar pants (not draggin jeans), and I have started saving my $$.. I want a pair of these http://www.motoport.com/detail.asp?P...&Merchant_Fax= check it out, 5 times tougher than leather!!!

A friend of ours has a pair of the BMW ones, and he swears by them, he says the flexibility is amazing, and the armour is excellent too, he came off his bike last year (while wearing them), and he slid accross the road a fair bit, while his bike ended up 12 ft down a cliff, and you would not be able to tell by looking at his pants... He says they are very cool in summer and they have a removable insert which makes them very warm in winter.. The BMW Kevlar pants go for about $800 AU ($603.281 USD) but sound like they are worth every cent..

Oh wow! I've never heard of these.... Excellent idea!! Pricey, but (as others have mentioned in the past), less expensive than skin grafts.

Shona, didn't you put in some sort of better armor in the Cleo jacket?
