I saw this happen at turn 10 at Beaverun. Highside on a Ducati 748R resulted in this...plus a busted collar bone for the rider. That weekend in April 06 claimed this Ducati an R6 (weenie roast) and about 4-5 collar bones.

Cool, quick disconnect rims.

The busted collarbone is bad enough but add this and it really hurts.

Any accident that results in a failure of a BST wheel would also have
destroyed any other wheel. It does suck though, they are expensive...

Rob
very true..but no other wheels cost so damn much. That was probably one of the most expensive bikes I have ever seen thrown down the track on its maiden voyage. That 749R had lots of carbon on it.

I'll probably get the same handling improvement if lose extra pounds I gained over the winter.
