Default Need some help

OK so I got the track bike finished now (pictures coming soon) and I'm headed to jennings this week so life is good on the track front. My issue now is....

I want a bike to just cruise around on. You know drive back and forth to work. Take to my friend houses in the summer....ride to my soft ball games on etc. I want something that ISN'T really fast (that just gets me tickets) and something comfortable to ride. I want to be able to put some sort of storage on for my laptop or whatever other shit I might need and I'm clueless as to what to get.

I think I want a sport touring bike...maybe even an older 600 cbr or something on those line. Oh by the way I want it to be cheap.

What I really want is an Tuono but I know they aren't cheap and I know I would get myself into trouble with it.

Any suggestions?

I am in kind of the same boat... The 636 will be my track bike this year, so I need a new street bike to replace it. I ride 2 up a lot (or at least usde to before I got the 636) so need something comfy, and I really don't ride like a nut on the street. I am looking at something "practical", and cheap... I have been looking at the SV650S, FZ6, Ninja 650 and the new FZ6R which I have yet to see, but it should be at the bike show this weekend. Just some ideas.. In the end, only you know what's best for you.

I would love to have an FJR, but thats a bit out of my price range.
