Default Custom Map done

Brought my Blade into Xtreme Machines this morning at 10am. I was told to get there when they open so it'll be faster. Well, Tommy didn't get there until 11:45am. There was some sort of mix-up. Anyways, after about 2.5 hrs, alot of WOT pulls and a new sensor put in the dyno, I gained 10hp from my old map. I don't have a scanner readily available, but as soon as I do, I'll post the printouts.

Base: 163hp / 83ft/lb Torque
Final: 173hp / 87ft/lb Torque

All in all, I am very happy with the results. The bike makes more power everywhere and feels incredibly smooth. Props go out to Tommy Miceli. He did an awesome job.

Maybe I should get a remap. How much did it cost in the end?

$320 with tax

$199 for the map + $99 for custom map at 10,20,30----->100% throttle.

I am confused here. A custom map is 10, 20, 30 etc. What is the $199 'map' then?

I think the $199 map is at 100% throttle only. It's not as precise.

And these guys are telling you a CBR1000RR has 173 rwhp? I tell ya, some people have no shame. I'm sure your new map is an improvement over the original. But why do they have to patronize you to that extreme. 173 rwhp.

I hate motorcycle shops.

Ya I know it's not 173 rwhp. My guess would be that it's somewhere in the 150-155hp range. I think their dyno reads high. I am not really concerned with peak HP #'s anyways. I am just happy that I gained 10hp over whatever I was previously at and power delivery is very smooth. It pulls noticeably harder thn it did before.

Yeah, sorry for the delay in the morning. Tommy had to bring his son to the doctor at the last minute.

Your original map looked pretty good, glad we (Tommy ) could improve on it.

Omar brought his bike in today, hope his works out just as well.

We were just talking about the dyno readings this morning and yours definitely seems a bit on the high side when it come to HP readings. I'll do some investigation (not an expert on dyno's by any means) & see what I come up with.

If you don't mind me asking, how did my service writer treat you? You can PM me if you want. I'm trying to fix some things at the counter & would appreciate some feed back. From anyone for that matter.

Couple of guys over on 1000rr.net dropped the map on their bikes and said it is awesome. After riding on it for a few days now, I am extremely pleased with the job Tommy did.
