Default A/C and heat installed!

Well after making several hundred calls to places, asking friends who do HVAC and calling friends of friends, I wound up spending extra money!

Almost all of the places I called were definitely able to beat PSE&G's prices buy A LOT, but could NOT beat their warranty

Lowest quoted was about $6500 installed for a 4 ton 80,000 BTU with a 4 year warranty on top of the standard 3 year warranty on the units itself making it 7 years total.

Highest place 'BEFORE" PSE&G was $7100 for also a 4 ton 80,000 BTU with the same warranty.

Every place I called had the same warranty deal. I asked 2 friends to install it for me, which would have cost under $5000, free installation, but no warranty what so ever other then the 3 years on the unit itself.

Public Service, (PSE&G) 4 ton 80,000 BTU, with a 15 year warranty on top of the units 3 years, life time warranty on Coils and life time warranty on the Coil Drain Pan. WORRY FREE!!! Basically I'm set for a very long time and don't have to worry about it.

They came in at about 8am, ripped both units out, ran a new line, had the chimney cleaned for the carbon monoxide, all that was clean, UNTIL, UNTIL they cleaned out the ducts, fucking dust was all over the basement, black dust, dirt, spiders you name it! everything accumulated since the house was built, 1963. And they were out of here at about 7pm.

All said and done $11,895.00 So right now it is 65 degrees in the house, and the vents are blowing air better then I ever seen any!
