For bikes it would be, one is not intent on staying held onto place on a bike for safety and protection in the even of an accident, if anything that rider would wants to get as far away from over 400 pounds of hurling mass as soon as possible. With the exception of Honda's testing the Goldwing, a bike that weighs over 1000 pounds and somewhat surrounds the rider more would possibly be considered a safety reason to test airbags, but that's besides the point. I did comment about structural integrity for having a ride home, and your driveway comment is completely exaggerated.
