For bikes it would be, one is not intent on staying held onto place on a bike for safety and protection in the even of an accident, if anything that rider would wants to get as far away from over 400 pounds of hurling mass as soon as possible. With the exception of Honda's testing the Goldwing, a bike that weighs over 1000 pounds and somewhat surrounds the rider more would possibly be considered a safety reason to test airbags, but that's besides the point. I did comment about structural integrity for having a ride home, and your driveway comment is completely exaggerated.

Enough said, and they're still choosing to go above and beyond...major kudos to Zuk.
Going above and beyond would mean building a bike that would last beyond what most to be considered a less than catastrophic impact. The fact is these things have been reported to crack in conditions most every other bike would walk away from. Thats hardly above and beyond. All Suzuki is trying to do now is save face and gain customer confidence in their product and service.

Like Ralph said it couldnt have been more than a month after these bikes were released that reports of cracked frames were beginning to surface. It took Suzuki this long to acknowledge this?

I hear ya Jeff, but I guess it depends on what one's opinion of, going above and beyond something, means. Like was previously mentioned these cracks weren't report under normal operational use.

These things were bent like a pretzel out of the crate. I spoke to my GMD guy about these bikes, he said they would try and NOT work on them. They did break a few of them when trying to make them straight(before any crash).

Mine feels ok I'd rather not have this done besides I don't really push it like racers do anyway. At least I'll have it maybe inspected to see if the frame is ok but whats the odds I'm gonna have mine crack? The same odds that my 954rr just blew up like they told me? I said "dude Honda's never blow up!" It got real quite in there.

Omar I just Imed my old friend racer X hes close to me maybe we both can ride down to you and let your people inspect both of them. I'm really not feeling that God awful looking brace. If my frame looks good do I really need it? I don't stunt this thing or wheelie it straight up just little baby torque wheelies cause I'm scared to really crank her up. tHE WAY geared it I can start off at a light in 2nd. One tooth down in the front and 2 up in the back but honestly I'm really not into wheelies!
