Arai BOMBSHELL
Arai is now going to let dealers go back to selling on-line, mail order and phone orders. Let the price wars begin.

I figured that they'd abandon the new policy, they were trying to put themselves on a self-imposed elitist pedistal. I for one was not going for it. I did not need to go to a "trained" dealership to locate a 7 1/4 inch helmet. I thought it was obnoxious and I switched to Suomy. Screw em.
I like their helmets, but their decision to have you order them through dealers only and in person was enough to make me switch helmet brands. I saw no need to pay an additional $150 for a new helmet for the experience of having someone who knows next to nothing about them sell me what I already know I need.

Looks like they also have a program to repair helmets that have a loose plastic strip under the chin. One of my helmets has this problem. I'm sending it in!!!
