Thumbs up Calabogie Canada 9/16 Pictures

Everyone that's into track days this track is a must. Numerous blind corners, elevation changes, fast straights and transitions. it was my first time up there so it took a few sessions to figure and tighten the corners ( Was fighting rear rebound problems all day, never really was totally fixed even with new e=rear rubber). Nevertheless the afternoon sessions were awesome. best run was a 2:23.87 - Ran 2:24 constantly in the afternoon. Happy with that considering it was my first time around this 3.5 mile monster. here are some pics. Enjoy.

You burnt all the grip off the rear drifting it outta the turns after the morning sessions already?!

No doubt that track IS for you, nice you have some time off to enjoy it finally.

Glad you had a great time on Sunday, the weather was great for Sunday, so you picked a good day to be there. BTW I was the guy at tech that told you the change the tire and checked on you later.

Calabogie is awsome and a must do track.

Kirk and I changed the rear first thing in the morning after tech. didnt want to be bothered doing it after lunch. thinking about doing a group weekend trip next year. I gotta get up there next season. the only thing that had me worried the whole trip was towing a trailer in and out of canada, but there wasnt any problems luckuly the board people were cool. Word of warning to people thinking of taking the trip to calabogie. Learn the track cuz there are fast corners and blind corners( most corners u can see the apex to the last second) there were way to many crashes on sunday. i saw 5 people off the track in front of me in the blue group. but there had to be aleast 10 to 12 crashes total just on sunday. And yes Joe the stands came in handy the front in the pic is yours. Thanks bro.
