120+ is easy enough to reach on both the front
and back straights with a liter bike. I don't think the pass
was very close though, the camera is only seeing straight
out in front, and the rider has his peripheral vision as well
as his hearing to help him out. I think he knew the coach was there.
He should definately stop using the clutch on his upshifts.

He was running times in the high 1:05 low 1:06 range the first 2 laps, once the CR passed him he slowed down a little. Can't wait to go on that track again. I was getting to the top of 5th on the straights, prob around 140 - 150. Still gotta work up the balls to keep the thottle open taking the kink at the end of the back straight.

That does take some practice. You were really moving during the TPM CUP races there last season. I get the bike to a bit over 140 at the kink, keeping on the gas past that point is hard to get used to. Something I have to work on as well. Wasn't that obvious until I watched my own video from Shadow Video to see when I came off the gas....pretty early and it was costing me some serious time.
Looking forward to this season.

Looks like a normal day to me

It's exciting when you are going into T1 on the left with the rear sliding

Since my lap timer covers my speedo, I've always been curious as to how fast I was actually going through the corners. I'm surprised @ how soone he brakes, yet still does decent times. I've just gotta figure out my entry speeds & I think I can drop 4 seconds, easy. I brake way later than that guy, but I know that I also brake too much

Watching it on video is deceiving. He's probably not braking as early as you think...
