Default Austin MotoGP 2014

Be here!

As many of you know I live in the Austin area now, and this is an incredible track. I've never been to a race before, so I didn't know what to expect. All I can say is WOW.

Start saving your pennies and vacation days for next year!

I have plenty of space for accommodations!

Our seats were in T1, but I was in T3/4 area on Saturday during a nice wreck during the Amateur race (Italian kid, walked away) and then in the same area T4/5 on Sunday when somebody wrecked pretty bad in the Moto3 race. He didn't move after he slid, and there was a bit of delay before the restart. He was airlifted and we were told his vitals were OK.

Honestly, I find when I am working the camera I miss out on enjoying the moment. The camera was also acting up (out of focus when zooming in), so I eventually gave up. Let me see what came out clearly when I get home tonight..

Sweet. If you have an extra day in the area, I'll show you around some of the fun stuff in Hill Country.

Reserved seating (turns 1 and 15, I think) were $140 for 3 day passes. I believe General admission 3 days was $89 and Sunday only GA was $59 or $69.

Gas for the bikes to get here will cost you more

Traffic wasn't as bad as I thought it would be getting to the track, it was just under an hour to the lot from my house... Heck, walking from the motorcycle lot to my seats in T1 took almost an hour.. Its a BIG track. I hope they do a better job with transportation from the lots to the various entrances next year.

Hope to see you guys here.

Presale tickets now available if you are on the mailing list, general public tickets I think go on sale Thursday.

http://circuitoftheamericas.com/media-center/

I sat in Turn 1 last year. I liked it but I plan on giving the seats in Turn 15 a try this year... Might be able to see all the way down to T11 and then through T16...

House is open for my everybody in the SBA family
