Default should i send them back.? UPDATED PAGE 2

i got my race body work in from Hot Bodies and from the pictures you could see i got alot of messing around to do.

the wind screen doesnt fit properly and if i squeeze the sides of the upper to the side of the wind screen the middle under the 69 will bukle out.

and the lower is rubbing the tire and chain and doesnt fit on the sides properly on both sides and is really tight.

the rear is huge and i 4got to take a picture of it.

i spoke to Matt and Hot Bodies and he said the obvious, leave it in the sun for a while and put it together (UPPER AND LOWER) then put it on the bike. and move it forward as much as i need to so that it fits better. but if i move it forward how am i gonna mount it to the upper bracket..?

im at a loss of words here and dont know how to put this shit together

I have a full set of hotbodies for my R1. I had no trouble with the fit but the overall quality of the bodywork was bad. Yours looks alot worse then mine. I would send it back.

I have a set of Sebimoto from YoYoDyne now and they look much better...

Set the oven to 350 degrees and toss'em in there for about an hour.

Damn that sucks, at least they're willing to give you a refund.

well i dropped them back off today from the place i bought them from for a full credit back to my credit card. but yesterday i had a friend who deals with race body work (deals - meaning he puts them on the bikes) he just looked at the upper placed it on the bike and the top of it only has under an inch to bolt on ONE bolt only and it cant be moved down because then it cant be bolted at all. and the lower does not reach the upper, it cannot even be brought up because it hits the bottom of the header, not only that but it rubs the rear tire and if you move it forward now the predrilled holes is about 2 inches off from where it supposed to be meaning i have to make a new hole. UNEXCEPTABLE!!!!!!!

i was talking to Scott at Godfathers and gonna order a set through him tomorrow morning, but theres a 2 to 3 week back order on them but i'd rather wait 2 or 3 weeks other then drilling new holes and cutting the rear of the belly pan to make it fit. hell the belly pan has the curve in it to catch the oil for the JUST IN CASE SH*T HAPPENS

but its been an experience for me.
