Talking NICE RIDE FOR YOU ONAUG 6!

REALLY NICE RIDE FOR YOU……………

Sunday August 6, 2006 I will be leading a spirited ride in central New Jersey, the route we will be riding on are well paved and maintained, clearly marked and traffic is usually not a concern. None of the roads are so technical as to intimidate a novice rider but still entertaining enough to keep experienced riders from being bored.

Meeting spot will be exit 33 off Interstate 78 (Liberty Corners) Exxon Station 7AM Kickstands up 7:30AM

The Route will be 525 south to 22 west (Somerville Area) 202&206…caution should be used in the area state police station at the 22, 202&206 interchange. After taking 202 south left onto CR567 south at (Raritan) down to Neshanic at this point CR 514 West (Amwell road) to Larisons corner, we come to the intersection of route 202 processing straight across route 202, the road becomes route 179 heading into the town of ringoes.
After ½ mile on 179 right turn onto 579 north, this is 160 degree turn we will be stopping just outside ringoes at the Black River & western railroad museum…. the road will start to get interesting CR604 RR Museum on the left. CR604 (Has some rolling hills and alternating sweepers.) to Sergeantsville their some nice coffee shop for snacks and General store that welcome biker. On CR604 we will also pass Green sergeant covered bridge. Built in 1872, CR604 ends at the intersection of CR519 (Rosemont) take CR519 north until we encounter CR651 (Byran-Kingwood Road) CR651 left to route 29 south down to Lambertville, we could stop in this area for lunch New Hope have a nice Brew Pub or just take ramp for 202 north exit, the fourth exit about five mile up to Wertsville Road CR602 at the stop sign at Long Hill road. Then must take left and an immediate right, continue Wertsville Road. This road will take you back to CR514 so we can get off the roads and watch the AMA Superbike Championship at Mid-Ohio.

I SEE SOME PEOPLE ARE A LITTLE TO CONCERN ABOUT THE POLICE VIEMING OUR ROUTE. TO THOSE WHO ARE OVERLY CONCERN ABOUT THIS, THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT NEED OR SHOULD REALLY STAY AT HOME CAUSE THIS IS NOT A RACE IT A RIDE....ALL MOTORCYCLE CLUBS AND GROUPS HAVE RIDES.

Now all the cops know just where to hide and wait...keeping detailed routes to PM's ensures a more enjoyable day on two wheels. Have a safe ride guys.
