I never run from cops... once they turn the lights on, until then, it's gun it to all hell.

i dont make a practice of it but the other day this young hard on cop tried to pull me over and i lost his ass. i just said to myself, you know what im not getting a ticket b/c this guy has nothing better to do. im not proud of it and im not bragging cuz something could have definately gone wrong but i just wasnt in the mood for some lame ass cop's bullshit, ya know??
on the other hand, i got to admit - it was alot of fun..

i dont have enough fingers or toes to count on for the amount of times i ran.
but i wont run no more because i finally got caught last year on 78. they had a road block from center divider to the wall on the right side.
i sure did learn my lesson. what could have been a 95MPH in a 65MPH ticket with maybe 5 points at the most. i wound up paying almost 10k with lawyer fees and court fees combined. no points on my license and no jail time for 3 counts of eluding in 3 different towns

come on they blocked off 78 to catch you?? no way. they could have killed you. what if you couldnt slow down fast enough...you would have crashed.. |

YUP.
when its like 3am and hardly any cars on the road, you can see them flashing lights 2 miles away. enough to slow down. and thats how i was caught. it was either trying to squeeze through the cars, or turn around and face on comming traffic. my chances were good being that hardly no cars were on the road |

just b/c they don't catch you doesn't mean they won't show up a day later and personally hand you the ticket and by then multiple ones.

How did you know he was a hard ass if you never even talked to the guy. What could you have been doing that was worth running? Attempting a wheelie?. We'll see how quickly you ignore his attitude when he's first response to your crash scene and calling for an whambulance to save your dead ass.

i speed just like the next guy - here are a few of my experiences...
zrx1200 speeding to vt, got caught in albany by a state trooper - gave me a break on the tix he wrote. reason: at your speed i could have you arrested, bike impounded, points on your license but i'm giving you a break b/c you did not run. if you did, i would not have caught you. i want to thank you for pulling over right away. cost me $100 fine.
gs500f speeding from bear mt to atlantic city, palisades pky. trooper gave me a break on the tix he wrote. same reason as the other trooper. another $100 fine.
sv650s speeding home today from pig roast/poker run. 287n local police - let me go, scott free. police: 'have you seen what a crash looks like from 95mph? i have, it's not pretty. slow down, at your age you should know better...'
