What were the events right up to the point of the headlight not working? Were you working on anything? Did it sit for a period of time and just stop working? Were you out riding and it just cut off? Any more info you can provide right up to the point where it stoped working might help us point you in a better direction. In the meantime, get a volt meter, unplug the connector(s) to the headlight and make sure your getting power. Let us know.

where do you store the bike.? maybe a critter chewed away on the wire while it was stored. i would start with checking the wires from the headlight back.

the bike is only this big |---------|

and you only have to check this much of the bike |---|

Definitely get a volt meter. Also, check the left clip on where the wires go in for the low/hi switch, make sure everything is connected properly in there and that you're gettin power to and through it.

Where in Jersey are you? Cage it over to a Home Depot or something and pick one up, very good thing to have, basic one is fine.

for an 01? Not unless you have some sort of ext. war. Least you know what it is, can replace the relays yourself.

i bought it back in august and it came with a warranty from the dealer i also purchased an extended warranty. so it should be covered.

John217 i apreciate the offer, but the only 6-pack youd get from me would be 6-packs of pepsi or coke whichever you prefer.haha im not old enough to buy alcohol.

im going to bring it to the dealer just to have them fix it i dont exactley have the time to fix it myself.

but thankx again for all the input guys
