Default Summit Main 6/25

Or what I like to refer to as "Sunk-it Point." Got in 2 sessons after lunch and before I knew we were standing in about 4" of water. Lee's new coach sign started floating away. Leaving was almost an adventure in itself. Headded toward where Any, Jimmy, Carl, Ray, Jude, and Tommy were pitted and ended up being in almost 2 feet of water, crazy. Great to see everyone.

ps...Lee might need a new sign Lee "The Borrower" Rubin

Here's my thoughts from the day:

1) Smokes is the largest human being I have ever seen. Bar none.
2) Smokes walking next to cakes you could swear you were watching the movie Twins.
3) Pirelli Supercorsas don't have a lot of grip in the wet
4) Rain hurts when it hits you going 100mph+
5) Poncho's are the greatest thing ever invented.
6) Wet feet for a 4 hour ride home sucks.
7) Outback = upset stomach and lots of gas for Ant the next day.

My view of the day:

1) Being somewhat new to TPM and to this site, I should've walked around and introduced myself. I was paddocked two doors down from Omar and CBRBob, and didn't know it! Sorry, guys!

2) Having my wife and daughter there with me was enjoyable for me, but boring for an 8-year-old after an hour.

3) Track riding in the rain sucks much worse than a rainy ride home from work.

4) Must bring a bigger cooler next time.

5) I must be nuts to get up at 2:30 a.m. to drive from Richmond to ride Summit in the rain.

6) Yes, I am nuts. I love this stuff!!

Oh yea!!!!

Two things we found out that day......
1) No matter what we did to his bike, Smokes couldn't go any faster........

2) Even without his red socks, his bike is still gay.........
