Don't mean to interupt the bashing....but you either live with it or get the fuck out of the US.....or quit your jobs and get a welfare check....hell I'll pay you to cut my grass...see how many bike payments you can make with that. You people act like the status of the economy is so great right now, and you act like the president has this all power rule over this country.....hey you should have went door to door and promoted McCain rather then sitting on your ass doing nothing so you can bitch about it now.
well go ahead have your fun with my comments i could care less. The fact is we won you lost and you have to deal with it for 4 years.

It wasn't like Bush didn't have to deal with anything right? Nothing remotely like, cleaning up Clinton's mess which happed to be ending on the beginning downslope of a revolving economy, or not even a year after he took office several key areas of our beloved country we're bombed by terrorists, but wait, I'm sorry, that part was a conspiracy conjured up by the government right? Of course it was Dave. And why didn't all that just take a year to fix? Cuz we're Americans, and it's the American way to have everything done yesterday, as ignorant as that may sound applying to the very thing that keeps this country alive, and speaking of alive that's exactly where we remained 7 years after 9/11, but that really doesn't mean shit to you either of course because you have the luxury to get on your soapbox and bitch about the very things that you take advantage of daily.
So just keep in mind that every promotion you get, and every tax bracket you slide up into, who'll be taking all your hard earned dollars while you try to fill up for track days? That is if we're still around and haven't been bombed to hell and back before you get to enjoy it.
The sad fact is Dave, that you didn't win a damn thing, you lost, we all lost, and you helped make that possible...thanks a lot buddy.

To be honest, as much as I didn't want Obama in office, it does make me sort of feel good that he won. The country is def. shifting towards a liberal way of thinking. His win means democracy and voting work. Can't see THAT as a bad thing.

One of the bad things is that his decisions will basically go unchallenged in a Dem controlled congress. That can potentially be a huge problem.

Well said, that's far from a "democratic" nation.

Be careful how you say things, that can be construed as a terroristic threat to the leader of our free world.
Now get the fuck off my quote.

hey High revs....ever think there are some people out there like myself that are making a good living and are willing to pay extra taxes to see policies that help out our society as a whole put into place. Well I got news for you. Everyone in my family feels that way.....lets see...me geologist with a bs and ms...my mother who is a college professor...my dad who is a nuclear engineer....my brother-in-law who doesn't have a college education but works for Waste Management and makes good money....my brother who's in CT......my sister...and I can keep naming people like that.
Hell maybe I shouldn't worry about other people and who aren't as fortunate as me and just let them rot. At the same time I think we need to get rid of health insurance because I'm tired of paying for other people who can't stay healthy...they pay less because my company and I pay the same price for me as the fat asshole who can't stop eating..............also if you're injuried and can't work no disability...you should have saved your money and been prepared....so I take it you had enough money to pay all your doctors bill and not have an income out of your saving, when you had your wreck right?
Yeah I'm an asshole. Everyone knows that and I'm fine with it. Like I said I'm happy about the change. If it doesn't work in four years we'll have another choice.

We'll see how much you like it when the actual deductions start rolling out of your life. This country was built on hard work, when my family started here they had nothing, but they sure as hell didn't go around with their hands out, they worked their asses off to make a life for themselves, just like you and your family's hard work to get where they are. A "democratic" system will have many levels of social classes but that doesn't mean we need to change our entire ideology to become a socialist governmental monopolized nation just to be sure that everyone is treated equally, that's not what this country's based on, a guy named Karl Marx had an idea like that, and the, idea, sure sounded good at the time.
As for support programs, they've been out there for years you've just been successful enough to not have to use them. Medicare, Medicaid, Uncompensated Care, Federal/State Disability, Welfare, Stafford and other educational loans, these are all programs that help many Americans stay afloat in times of need.
Furthermore there will be an influx of Americans who now won't have to even try to work hard anymore to even gain some income, it'll come directly from us, and once that happens one can never teach an old dog new tricks, their counterproductive nature will harm us more than help us, because instead of using that to their advantage in helping the overall success of our country's economic stability and growth they'll just sit where they are, that's not hard to predict cuz it's been happening for years. This is the land of opportunity, not the land of charity.

My thing is...instead of bashing the man..we should get behind him and support him, he will be the president.
Give the man a chance. Dont just say that he's going to do a bad job before he takes office.
I dont like the war, but i do support the troops.

Supporting the troops is good they have no choice in where they are or what theyre doing. I am not too keen on his economic policies and we do have ot question his expierence or lack there of with foreign policy. thats where hes got his work cut out for him.

Any new administration has there work cut out for them coming in to the mess that's there.
If he's not like, you should still support him cause he's our President.
