Default The F4i goes Stormtrooper

The day I bought the bike in April of 2007:

I put red reflective rimstripes on a couple weeks later:

Undertail with cheap and ghetto LP taillight. Ignore the license plate, that was put on to show a friend (who is a Harley rider) that sportbikes look stupid with side-mounted plates:

4300k HID low beam installed:

First time out on a real track:

Second time out on a real track:

New paint job:

Stormtrooper posed from this weekend's St. Patrick's Day Parade:

The red rimstripes will be replaced with white reflective ones this week once they arrive from tapeworks.com.

Paint job looks sweet. Did you do all the work yourself?

I sanded everything down and did most of the fill work myself. (The previous owner was an idiot and dremeled out the front indicator holes for some reason.) The final touchup bodywork and the paint itself was done by a friend's dad, who owns a vintage restoration shop called Pure Vintage Motorsports. Reasonably priced, too.

That Stormtrooper must be used to the throttle's other location on the speederbike.

Bike looks great in white paint.

Now we just need someone in a Vader costume to sit on that one.

The parade was a once-a-year deal with a local sportbike club... and I'm glad. All that stop-and-go was KILLING my clutch hand after having not ridden for 5 months.
