Default My first R6 ride

getting ready to go to Pocono on the 9th, It's going to be the first time for me on the R6. It is really light compared to the Kat, and has some HP! I hope it doesn't rain. I will definetely have to take it easy at first. With the Katana, you can twist the throttle a lot in the middle of the corner, and really beat it up, I don't think you can get away with that on the R6.

It went fair. In the morning it rained and was misty, everyone pretty much just rode around, as the track dried, the speeds went up, and suprisingly the bike felt pretty comfortable. I still can't believe how light and responsive it is compared to the tank I was riding. Omar from Monmouth Cycles did the suspension set up, and the bike felt confident. The only bad deal was we grenaded the clutch, I mean blew it apart. Luckily I have all winter to get that stuff straightened out. It was one of the funnest times of my life. I would've definetly prefered a dry track.
