This sucks cuz the fox was such a great thing but now I seem to be having the same problems as of a few months ago. I know there used to be a menu to change some options to make it faster and increase it's performance but the only problem is I have no idea which options to change.

Did you check for spyware? Anytime I'm having browser issues, that's the first thing I check for. Check your task manager to see what's running at the time. With firefox, you have the option of uninstallint and re-installing. Try that.

Probably a corrupt Firefox profile....Backup your bookmarks file and recreate the profile.

Most likely it's a proxy server at work and doesn't depend on the browser, but it never hurts to try... well it does sometimes, but not in this case!
