Anyone going to Pocono with TPM Thurs.? I'm new to the forum and was thinking I might meet a couple of you guys there. I just got bumped to blue and I'm on a 01 red and black R 6 #145.

I'll be there...but I'll be working. I'll look for your plate so I can throw a black flag at you, just to introduce myself

What do you get for working? Is it just sitting corners, or is there more to it?

You either get track credit to your TPM account or cash. Your pick.

When you cornerwork, you are attached to your station from 8:45 until they break for lunch. After lunch, you head back 15 minutes before the start of the the afternoon sessions and you are there until the day is done. Responsibilities include your station as well as being the eyes to the next, making sure your corner is clear of debris and sweeping if necessary, participating in sweep checks at the end of each session, watching bikes to make sure there isn't anything falling off or leaking, etc., displaying the proper flag when needed and being alert. You do not get to leave to use the bathroom. You can't talk on your cell and you can't take a nap

Be prepared with plenty of water, snacks, appropriate weather gear (especially if it's raining ) and a chair.

That just covers some of cornerworking.

It was more like a little pond. They almost diverted the course to avoid turn 1, but decided to sweep it and run the normal FUSA course.

Bring a motard to deal with the bumps/jumps/dips/cracks & ScArY run off.....it's THAT bumpy/scary.

BTW - have a good time, I just HATE Pocono....to easy to get dead or FUBAR there.
